The Cadillac Allante is a Luxury Roadster. The 2-door convertable body style of the Allante was designed by Pininfarina who is well known from Ferrari.
The elite car was sold from 1987 through 1993 with only 21,000 made.
The bodies were shipped in specially-equipped Boeing 747s from Italy To Cadillac's plant in Michigan. The Allante was nicknamed "The flying Italian Cadillac" and due to it's long travel time it was also deemed "The world's longest assembly line."
